The Court of Queen’s Bench Judges
The Manitoba Queen’s Bench Rules are undergoing their first major overhaul since the 1980’s. These extensive changes will place an emphasis on principles such as access, proportionality and expediency, bringing our Rules in line with improvements across the country. Join Chief Justice Glenn Joyal and Associate Chief Justice Shane Perlmutter for an overview of the new Rules and the court’s new associated practices. Michael Weinstein will round out the panel, providing a practitioner’s perspective on what the changes will mean in your day-to-day practice.
