Law Society Extends Forgivable Loan Program

The Law Society has extended the Forgivable Loan Program for another year. The Law Society will award a forgivable loan to a student from an under-serviced Manitoba community who has been accepted into first year at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law for September 2012. The Law Society will forgive 20% of the loan for each year that the recipient practises in his or her community after being called to the Bar. This initiative is supported by the Manitoba Bar Association and the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law. The application deadline is April 30, 2012
